Zara clothing: Autumn Winter 2009/2010 Catalogue

4 Aug 2009

* Zara for women

Next season, shoulders will get extra volume with oversized puff sleeves.

Zara clothing: Autumn Winter 2009/2010 Catalogue

It’s official, the 1980s have come back into fashion! This is a fact, even if many women don’t like it. The following dress with shoulder pads has a very similar design to one that was designed by Alexander Wang:

shoulder-pads

Above the knee boots. Also known as mid-thigh boots.

As if it was not enough that women “steal” their boyfriends’ jeans: the upcoming autumn, women also will wear men’s suits in the office.

men-office-suits

A military-style coat with a feathered skirt: It is a trend that was seen as part of the Louis Vuitton Spring collection and also in the Ruffian Fall collection.

feathered-skirt

In the following picture, we can see a new trend for pants that is being followed by some designers: Those pants are called “peg-leg pants”.

peg-leg-pants

Tight jeans, a large T-shirt, a blazer with shoulder pads and boots… A look that was seen recently in a Balmain collection.

Perfect for protecting from the cold, this coat is a really nice garment.

Of course, a leather jacket must be always present in our wardrobe.

The new Zara collection has not only coats, but also vests:

And now, please take a look at the boots in the following picture. Aren’t they beautiful?

Let’s see them again… Yeah! These boots are really beautiful.

Two trends: leopard print and synthetic fur coats.

And not only the 1980s are coming back into fashion. The 1990s are also returning: Grunge shirts with a checkered style. Some collections such as those from William Rast or Dsquared2 have also included this type of shirts.

In the following picture, please check the detail on the arms: A lot of chain bracelets.

More military-style jackets!

Do you like the sweater in the next picture? It looks like a Topshop sweater that was worn by one of the Olsen sisters recently, don’t you think?

Nice design and some parts made of leather for a military-style jacket… (yep, more military-style jackets!).

Could you help me? I bought a jacket for myself and my grandaughter plus 2 tee shirts. I would like to return the 2 jackets but have lost my receipt, I was on a visit to Bath at the time and think I left it in the hotel. I have a bank statement with the transaction detailed, how do I stand?
I will be in Nottingham at the weekend do you have a Zara there?
Look forward to hearing from you

According to the store list, there is a Zara store in Nottingham:

Please tell me WHERE and when & how – I can purchase the new strong shoulder jacket and dress from the > fall 2009-2010 catalog?

omarinho says:
August 24th, 2009 at 9:32 pm

Marilyn,

You can use the Zara store finder application to find a store near to you (in case you live in a country where Zara is present):

http://www.zara.com/#/en_GB/shops/Store%20Finder/

We guess this collection will be available in September.

And, you must go to a Zara store to buy its clothing because, as far as we know, there is no way to buy online… unless you visit some websites such as ebay.com and search for some Zara garments.

Joanna,

It is supposed to be at the Zara stores around the world… maybe you should print and show the picture of that item to the salesperson.

Hilary Pearlman says:

Please could you tell me why you don not make all the sizes for children.
I have grandsons who are not soze 9/10 or 11/12 they are 10/11, and you do not make this size at all. Do you think that there are not any children this size? I find it quite amazing that you have missed this size out. It simplly means that I will not be able to buy clothes for them in your store until they reach the required size. Which is a pity as most of your things are well styled. Can you please tell me why you do not make smart trousers for boys of any age. They do not spend their whole lives in jeans and cords.

omarinho says:

We understand your point but we are not direct Zara representatives, so it would be better if you contact to Zara staff directly.

omarinho says:

K Dimson,

Zara has announced they will open an online store very soon. At this time, the best way to buy Zara clothing is by visiting a physical store.

Yes, maybe those are not great news, but they have many stores around the world. You can look for a store near to you in the following URL:

Odelia,

There are Zara stores in Israel.

You can find one store near to you by using the store finder and selecting Asia –> Middle East –> Israel

http://www.zara.com/#/en_GB/shops/Store%20Finder/

omarinho says:
November 23rd, 2009 at 11:20 am

gabbie,

Hi. We don’t know if that top has a name… but maybe you should print the picture (color printing) in order to show it to the salesman/saleswoman. The following is an address with the picture (without any text)

http://www.newclothing.co/wp-content/uploads/zara-leather-jacket.jpg

Regarding your another question, it is supposed to be in any Zara store but, of course, it is difficult to know if it is available. Maybe a local salesman/saleswoman can help you once you show the picture.

Hello. I wonder if u can help. I saw an item of clothing in the December 2009 lookbook and wanted to purchase it. I have been into a few stores hutcannot find it. Is it still possible to buy items from the December lookbook? Is there anyway you can find out where I can purchase it from? I’m in the uk

thanks

omarinho says:
February 14th, 2010 at 6:38 pm

Sim,

Unfortunately the only way to buy the Zara items is by getting them at the brick and mortar Zara stores. We are still waiting the launching of the online Zara store.

Sim says:
February 15th, 2010 at 8:51 am

Thanks Omarinho. Do you know whether Zara resupply stores with Sale items? Or is it a policy of ‘when it’s gone, it’s gone? I am finding it difficult to find any store who stocks items from December/January!!

Thanks!

omarinho says:
February 15th, 2010 at 9:27 am

Sim,

As far as we know, Zara doesn’t re-supply its stores with old collections. Or, at least, it is not a common practice.

Dear General Manager,

Africa in general and Cameroon in particular being in the way of development, there is a great need of improuvment on the wear fashion domain (Men, Women and Children clothes).
That’s why I come respectfully asking for You, an agreement of representation of your great trade mark or compagny in Cameroon (Central Africa) in particular and in Africa in general for us to fill this hudge lake on this domain.
You will agree with me that Cameroon in particular and Africa in general constitute a large fild not only in term of investment but more in term of benefit; that will allow the expansion of your compagny and the discovry of the beauty your clothes.
I am a yong Cameroonian who was impress of your clothes (the suit that my big brother send to me in occasion of my marriage). That’s why saw the need to write to You. It will be a great previllege and honor to be your representative in me country
