Some days ago,  the event “Essential Looks – 111 Edition: Part 1 Collection for Spring / Summer 2009” was presented on international catwalks. It was a fashion show about hair trends for the season that was carried out by Schwarzkopf, a leading company in the hairdressing market, which is now 111 years old.

In order to develop this collection, a group of hairdressers of the company attended some important Fashion Weeks in different cities such as London, Paris, Milan and New York. Then, they created the collection with different trends (inspired by trends in the Fashion Weeks) to be used in hair salons around the world. The “111 Edition: Part 1 Collection” includes 4 new trends:

The natural hair architecture

* 80′s Dance: It is a sporty look to be accompanied by sport dresses with a casual style. In this trend, the haircuts and colors are juvenile, fresh and have a lot of attitude.

glamazon

* Glamazon: Sexy and sophisticated styles. It is a perfect choice for strong and glamorous women. It is a 70s-inspired trend that includes precise and sharp haircuts.

sunday-best

* Sunday Best: A trend with clashing and shaky colors with an air of eccentricity. The haircuts are sophisticated, feminine and modern.

rounded-form

* Rounded Form: Modern minimalism meets new naturalness.
