Stradivarius December Lookbook
The month of December is a special one – everyone knows that! It’s magical, with its pure white snow, the pretty lights all over town, warm, decorated houses, and, most of all, the tradition of offering and receiving gifts. Of course, we shouldn’t need a designated holiday to make us give presents, but since the tradition is so deeply rooted, we might as well, right?
For most people, the search for the perfect gift for everyone dear to them, can become stressful at times. Moreover, it’s the end of the year, too, a time when you feel the need to have everything in order, and start anew. The shops are full, retailers offer various sales, the gift wrapping stations are at maximum capacity.
So, it’s a busy time for fashion retailers, as it is for us, people. They are prepared to meet our every need, and there are two main needs this time of the year: gifts and party attire. Most brands do their best to offer them both to their customers, and it’s the case of the Spanish brand Stradivarius, too.
The Inditex Group branch have launched their December look book, one that can satisfy your every need for the holiday season: you can buy party outfits for yourself, or you can pick a gift for your sister, best friend or girlfriend. Stradivarius, unlike other brands of the Group, only offer womens wear.
The overall look of the collection is dark and glamorous, a bit edgy even. We particularly love the model that has been chosen to do the shoot, with her black, perfectly straight bob and bangs – a hair style that never seems to be actually out of fashion, or else, Anna Wintour wouldn’t be rocking it! – combined with red lipstick.
Pictured here are two party ensembles. The first one consists of a LBD with sequin ornaments at the hemline, a gorgeous structured clutch, black ankle booties and silver jewelry. This is perfect for spending the New Year in a cool club, dancing with your friends and meeting new people. Same for the second look, consisting of a faux-leather mini skirt, a lurex jumper, a gorgeous and festive sequins cardigan and metallic shoes, too. Looks like party wear means metallics!
The next idea from Stradivarius is to wear an off-white lace blouse with a pretty collar necklace – the effect is amazing! Pair it with shorts and lace platforms for a look to remember.
Or just get a versatile LBD and accessorise it with red: earrings, bracelets, pumps and even the clutch. You surely won’t go unnoticed, and Stradivarius knows how to make that happen for you.
The next combination is also party perfect: a mini sequin skirt with a oversized sweater – comfortable and pretty! Wear it with heels and lots of jewelry balance the monochrome look.
And something that you can wear to a fun party, but also at your parents’ Christmas dinner is the skinny jeans with a sequin top, metallic heels and a funky black hat!
Go wild in sequin leggings, an oversized beige sweater and snake print booties! Nothing beats the combination of sparkle, animal print and the large-small silhouette. Wear with metallic jewelry for a guaranteed effect.
Another rad combination for parties this season is the sequin bodice, worn with a high waist pencil skirt and a fab cardigan on top. The booties and clutch can be black, as in the look book, or they can be really colorful – red is especially fitted for holidays.
Last but not least, two edgy and fashionable looks that show Stradivarius know how to party! The first one combines a sleeveless sequined dress with a knitted cardigan with gloss, and then helps you feel really comfy with the aid of military lace up boots. Black tights and a shiny chain necklace complete the look.
Finally, we find an idea on how to make a plain white shirt party-perfect: with a feather skirt, of course! Wear with golden sandals and a metallic thin belt and you will be the queen of the night!
All in all, the Stradivarius look book for December is something that you can’t take your eyes off: elegant, very modern, youthful and with an edge. Does that sound like something you’d like to wear to the upcoming parties?
