Spring fashion trends: Topshop Spring-Summer 2010 collection

The first line Topshop offers us for the coming Spring-Summer 2010 is called Parisienne and its inspiration is obviously French: Ballerina shoes, skinny pants, short jackets, corsets, flared skirts, pearls, stripes, and spotted designs that make this line really feminine and enjoyable with the whole Parisian glamour.
The second line is called Saloon and it takes us back to saloons of the American Old West: Fringes, cowgirl boots, white lace, worn-out (or faded) prints, earth and sand colors, and of course, a lot of leather and denim fabrics to remember the period of the latter half of the 19th century and the days of the wild American west.

The third line of this collection is Meadow, which retakes the bucolic and romantic nature of the English countryside with its floral prints and delicate fabrics like chiffon, knitted cloths and laceworks in cream colors. Besides, it includes pastel colors and items made of bleach washed denim, so you can have some original and particular options by using this specific line. Apparently, Topshop also tried to add a more Gothic and ruder touch by including some thick wool cardigans, studded vests, leather accessories, and laced boots.

Lastly but not least, there is another line in this Topshop collection, which is called Downtown. That is an urban line that combines leather with cotton fabrics in order to create a casual style which sometimes can look really elegant. Modern jackets, stylish overalls, and classic colors such as grey and black are included too. In this line, the more casual garments are represented by some trendy harem pants and short T-shirts.
