Spring fashion trends: Stella McCartney for Adidas – Spring Summer 2010

The first Adidas collection in collaboration with Stella McCartney was launched to the market in 2007. It was the Stella McCartney Gym Yoga for Adidas, which was soon complemented by new collections for other sports like tennis, athletics, and swimming.

For the Spring-Summer 2010 season, the English designer and the German-based sports apparel manufacturer continue creating new products designed for another range of sports. Specifically, we are talking about triathlon and cycling. That way, Adidas ensures its status as the only company with collections that combine the latest advances in sports clothing and the latest fashion trends of a top designer.

Regarding the new collection, the designer has commented that, “this collection continues to be a great success, and I’m very excited to introduce Triathlon and Cycling as new categories. I’m always trying to push myself and this new collection has everything you need in sports today: It is sleek, stylish and super sporty! Technically, both new sports are exciting, they are very personal yet still competitive, and they combine both a city and country experience which is very important to me”.

Besides the new lines of this season (triathlon, cycling and running), the collection continues offering new styles in the categories of: Tennis, Swim, Golf, Gym Studio, Gym Yoga, Gym Dance, and accessories.

The prices of the clothing pieces range from 45 Euros (approx. US$ 61) for the “Tennis Performance Bra Top” and “Performance Hot Pant” to 300 Euros (approx. US$ 409) for the “Golf Performance Jacket”.

As for footwear, the prices range from 50 Euros (approx. US$ 68) for the “Commoda Slide” to about 160 Euros (approx. US$ 218)  for a footwear line called “Festuca Golf”.

And as for accessories, the prices range from 10 Euros (approx. US$ 14) for the “Cover Up” socks to 170 Euros (approx. US$ 231) for the “Florifer Fashion Sport Bag”.
