Snowboard jackets: Protest 2010 Collection

Protest is introducing a new logo in its snow collection for Winter 2009/10, which is a collection where fashion prints and classic confections are fused with modern colors, Bauhaus designs, and a deep love for snowboard disciplines. The new logo is added everywhere, even on the prints of the technical jackets, and besides, on other very small details such as zippers and buttons.
This Snowboard collection combines the best things from past Protest collections with innovations in snowboard products. Among the novelties and advances, we can highlight the Oriel jackets for men and Jeannie jackets for women with a wonderful style and design. They are intended to be a way of having a great and energetic look by using a combination between modern and retro characteristics.
In particular, we are talking about a renovated version of the traditional college jacket which has been adapted to the snowboard theme by adding an external 100% polyamide fabric with an impermeable microporous covering. This covering is able to tolerate a water column of 5 meters; besides, it is transpirable (that is to say, the body is able to breath through these jackets). On the other hand, the thermal properties of the jackets are ensured by the use of Thermax Polyester.
This is a nice collection that seems inspired by the college trend originated in the United States, or more specifically, in American universities during the eighties. Now, this trend is resurging and coming back in fashion in a strong way. For that reason, this is a good opportunity for Protest, especially with the need of introducing a new logo.
