Re-Work Your Party Dress
Did you invest in a great Christmas party dress, but now everyone you know has already seen you wear it? Are you feeling a little frugal during this new year? Well you’re certainly not alone. If you’re feeling like you have ‘nothing to wear’ in January, then here are a few top tips on how you can re-work your party outfit.

Traditionally, the start of the new year is the time when everyone dashes to the sales in order to grab themselves a bargain. While the sales can be great for finding discounted items, it is important that sales items are usually last season’s stock. If you want to make sure you stay ahead of the trend, than you can often be better off simply making a few alterations to your most recent purchases.

If you’re looking to expand your day-wear collection of clothes, then think about how you might be able to dress down some of your more glitzy purchases. A sparkly top which you might ordinarily pair with a formal skirt, heels and even glamorous jewellery such as an engagement ring at 77diamonds can still make for the perfect outfit to wear to go shopping, or meet friends for coffee, when teamed with jeans (or a casual leather skirt) and boots instead. You can also think about pairing dresses with leggings and casual accessories for a more dressed-down look.

On the other hand, if you want to give your latest party dress a bit of a revamp, then there are a number of things which you can do. Why not try adding a chunky belt and a stylish blazer to help create a brand new look? If you are feeling brave, you might even want to think about investing in some fabric dye to change the colour of your clothes – just check the material is compatible first!
