Oscars 2009 – Clothing and Fashion

Penelope Cruz: A vintage gown in white designed by Pierre Balmain.

Kate Winslet: She was faithful to Yves Saint Laurent, the luxury fashion house that has provided her clothing during the last award ceremonies.

Anne Hathaway: Astonishing and spectacular design by Armani Privé.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Dress label marked “Dior Couture”.

Freida Pinto: She is always beautiful. This time, she conquered us with a John Galliano dress in blue.

Beyoncé: Tight and stuffed. A dress in black and golden, maybe this was one of the most mistaken choices of the night.

Marisa Tomei: A pretty woman with a Versace gown.

Virginia Madsen: A lovely red gown by Kevan Hall.

Miley Cirus: Hannah Montana looks really good when wearing shiny clothes and she demonstrated it by wearing a Zuhair Murad gown.

Jennifer Grey: Jennifer preferred an ultra tight, black gown (Dolce&Gabbana).

Evan Rachel Wood: She shone with her own light and showed off a tattoo on her back and a timeless swept-up hairdo. She wore a Elie Saab ivory satin gown that evokes old Hollywood glamour.

Diane Lane: a classic and black gown (Dolce&Gabbana).

Jada Pinkett Smith: She wore a Carolina Herrera dress and very expensive H. Stern jewels.

Leslie Mann: Although the dress seems made of aluminum paper or something similar, it is an authentic gown designed by Pamela Rolland.

Vanessa Hudgens: The American actress and singer, star of High School Musical and Zac Efron’s girlfriend wore a figure-hugging, black strapless corset gown with over-fussy leather details (by Marchesa).

Viola Davis: A Reem Acra gold gown.

Angelina Jolie: Her dress, by Elie Saab, was accompanied with jade earrings and a matching ring.

Alicia Keys: Basic and elegant. She looked great in her Armani Privé gown.

Heidi Klum: Some people think she wore a beautiful dress, but other people think it was a boring dress (by Rolland Mouret).
