The Dominican designer has opted for halter neck designs for his fantastic evening and cocktail dresses.
Peplum dresses and jackets that have been in fashion this 2012 continue active for 2013, but De La Renta incorporates some changes. This style was used in forties specially and returned in the eighties. There are a lot of desings with torchon fabric too.
As always happens in this kind of collection we can delight with some beautiful gown evening desings and too much sheer fabrics. Satin fabrics are specially used in straight designs while pailettes fabrics are used in princess dresses, in gold and silver colors, specially.
The vegetable print designs is another strong trend into this huge collection. Of course, green color predominates in this style where we can see pretty beautiful designs.
Oscar De La Renta also uses purple tone to match blouses and jackets with green pants, for example, which is a perfect outfit for Summer season.
The designer uses almost all colors that identify the warmest season in the year, however, he keeps some designs for traditional women who can’t avoid wear colors like black and white.
