Manolo Blahnik shoes: Autumn-Winter 2009/10 collection

Spanish designer Manolo Blahnik has created a wonderful shoes collection for this Autumn-Winter 2009/10. As is customary with his collections, each pair of shoes is a craft creation (actually, Blahnik presents himself as a craftsman). And every craft creation has its very own name.

This is a collection full of color and splendid designs characterized by very high heels, which are a special feature that is always present in the creations of this “genius of the footwear”. That special feature is conquering more and more women, from the whole world. But this is not a new trend at all, because Manolo Blahnik’s heels are in the fashion world since several decades.

In the picture above, we can see a shoe called TUFA that, according to some reports, it is the favorite one of the designer in this new collection.

Also, in this Autumn-Winter 2009/2010 collection, the collaborations with other fashion brands are also present. But three of them are the most remarkable ones:

* First of all, the model called LIGARO has been designed for the clothing label Band of Outsiders; its design has the essence of the boxing (or, at least, this sport was a source of inspiration) but with a sexy and glamorous touch.

* As result of another collaboration, there is a model called MICHELINA, which was designed for Aquascutum, a UK-based luxury clothing manufacturer and retailer. MICHELINA comprises T-bar shoes with two colors and several details made of crocodile skin for the day, and golden leather for the night.

* And lastly, but not the least, there is another collaboration called MEDKIRA, which is a pair of boots with embroidered patterns containing heavy jewelry. This is a prominent design included in a spectacular collection by Meadham Kirchhoff which is a London-based fashion line created by Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff.
