Madonna for Louis Vuitton – Fall-Winter 09/10: Clothes, handbags designer, accessories and more
Madonna comes back as the face of the new advertising campaign for the brand Louis Vuitton and its Fall-winter 09/10 collection. This time, she worked in collaboration with the photographer Steven Meisel; but this is not the first time: they have worked together in the past during several photo sessions.
In the picture above, Madonna is wearing some samples of the new items included in the collection: clothes, handbag, accessories and a sort of rabbit ears, which is a quite attractive and eye-catching headdress. The colors of this collection are very appropriate for the fall and winter seasons. By the way, they are very similar to the colors used by Dolce & Gabanna in its fall-winter collection.
Although this new Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 09/10 collection is very fashionable and elegant, this photo where Madonna is participating is a little strange. Her pose and face don’t look natural. Besides, the retouches (with Photoshop, we guess) produced an evident alteration and Madonna looks like a mannequin. The color gradient, that was used to get a metallic effect, combines very well with the colors of the items and gives us a sensation of coldness, but definitely, Madonna’s face and her pose are strange.
If we take a look at the following picture (from the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 09 collection), then we can see how different colors were used. The prevalent colors in the current collection are: brown, yellow, and orange. By the way, Madonna’s poses were a little strange in this photo session, too.
Of course, other photos of the advertising campaign for the Louis Vuitton fall-winter collection will be published soon. Hopefully, we will be able to see Madonna with a richer variety of poses and different facial expressions.
