Kenzo Fall 2010: Bohemian collection of clothes – Women’s fashion

The Kenzo collection for the Fall 2010 season was present at the Paris Fashion Week where the world-wide clothing brand showed the bohemian and romantic spirit of the 1970s. Definitely, this is a very good and beautiful collection for the upcoming colder months. Kenso proposes us to wear a look that combines hippie fashion with the use of masculine pieces. The very same designer has mentioned that, for women, it is very important the freedom to choose how they want to wear their clothes. Even, the possibility of choosing and wearing men’s pieces is a wonderful thing. On the catwalks, we were able to see vests and sweaters with flower printsĀ or animal prints, with the purpose of adding a different small touch.

Among the most remarkable things of this collection, we can find a mixture of textures, prints, and shapes that highlighted the style of the designs by adding a “very warm” look. Also, accessories are clearly emphasized, including furry coats, hats, and platform shoes (a set of details that, obviously, are always eye-catching).

Besides some coats and sweaters, there are long and voluminous dresses complemented by hats adapted to our time, adding a great 1970s touch to the collection. The inspiration behind this collection was showed by actresses Marisa Berenson and Maria Schneide, who presented the contrast between bourgeoisie and bohemian lifestyles.
Other remarkable items of this collection are long maxi dresses (very long!) associated with boots and wide-brimmed hats, a sleeved jacket with leopard print, and shiny dresses in orange printed with flowers. In addition, the outstanding accessories are also including leather handbags to wear on a shoulder, and printed silk scarves to wear during the winter (we think this last detail is really beautiful and interesting).
