Fashion and design: Bottega Veneta Autumn-Winter 2009/2010 – For men

The Bottega Veneta collection for the upcoming Autumn Winter deserves a good review. It is definitely a good collection. Check the following items carefully and you’ll see nice, elegant, fashionable and comfortable clothing pieces for men.

We can see that the use of leather for jackets, trench coats, and vests is a quite common feature in the whole collection.

Many coats are included in this collection with a great variety of designs. For instance: very long and wide trench coats with lined collars that can be worn both opened (in Autumn) and fastened (when the weather is really cold).

If you prefer a more discreet look, this collection includes American-style jackets and also leather jackets where we can see only a few details that complement the design; for instance: lined cuffs. The common use of leather and knitted fabric makes these jackets look really spectacular and one of the best options available in this collection.

For more traditional-minded men, Bottega Veneta has garments made only of knitted fabrics, including nice coats (in dark colors, mainly) as well as jackets.

As for the sweaters, the knitted fabric becomes the unique material used on the product. So, we can say the knitted elements are a recurring theme in this collection (a sort of “leitmotif” from an artistic point of view).

Pants are another important category of this collection. They look great with the jackets.

Although we can observe a marked absence of vivid colors in this new Bottega Veneta collection for the upcoming cold seasons, there are two ivory-white outfits that can be an exception to this rule. They are perfect for those who don’t want to leave aside the white color in Autumn.

As for the shoes, also there are interesting and nice items. The collection includes mainly: moccasins, nautical shoes, and the famous desert boots, which were in fashion some time ago (especially those sold by Clarks) and now are coming back again.
