Little by little, we are showing you the best options to get trendy clothing pieces for this season without spending too much money… money you can use in a wiser way. Today’s post is about Zara Trafaluc, which is the young line of the Spanish clothing chain Zara. In particular, today we are showing some novelties included in Zara TRF’s Lookbook for September 2010.

A perfect lamb-collar leather jacket is definitely a must-have for this season; and, of course, Zara TRF has included it. On the other hand, the camel color is a powerful trend now; in the past, there was a general thinking that this color was bored and unfashionable, but nowadays it is considered as a trendy color, especially by important fashion houses such as Chanel.

Let’s continue with two other current trends: Schoolgirl-style and British-style (brit-style). Believe or not, those styles are becoming more and more trendy. In the picture, a coat with a retro touch (left), and a military jacket accompanied by a brocade skirt (right).

1960s-inspired-fashion

Fashion designers often get inspiration by going back in time. The 1960s are a great inspiration source. Some designs remind us of fashion icons and former celebrities like Faye Dunaway, Bianca Jagger, and Julie Christie.

What about an apres-ski look? (maybe you remember the Chanel apres-ski style). Well, with Zara TRF, you can obtain this fantastic look without spending too much. The skirt on the left is simply wonderful.

Jackets  with a military touch are still in fashion. Burberry, for example, has included them extensively in its collections. In this case, Zara TRF offers us a blazer with alive details that add a lovely contrast. Also, we can see a look with a college fashion style… and a retro touch, too; in particular, this college fashion style seems inspired by the 1970s and the style of some college girls of that time (if you want, you can watch “Love Story”, the 1970 romantic drama film starred by Ali MacGraw, and you will know what we are talking about). Anyway, the college fashion style is definitely an important trend for this season and fashion designers know that.

Do you like the jogging pants made of wool (like those of Chloe)? Well, you are lucky because they are in fashion. Zara has included them in its products catalog for this season; however, they are not available in camel (that trendy color); instead, they are available in grey, the eternal basic color that was an important trend when minimalism became a strong influence at the end of the ’90s… and now, in the new century, this color is again a “hot” color of the fashion world.
