The Spanish firm chose a new club (Mellow Beach Club by Custo) as the ideal place to introduce its collection for the upcoming Fall-Winter 10/11 season.

The fashion show was carried out within the ambit of The Brandery 2010 urban fashion trade show in Barcelona (Spain) which has coincided with the inauguration of the exclusive Beach Club that is  located in a privileged area in front of the Mediterranean coast and inside a building that became a new skyline symbol of the noble Barcelona city: The memorable “W Barcelona hotel”.

Under the name Hairy Metal, Custo Barcelona has introduced a solid, energetic, and contemporary collection in keeping with a new age. A collection where the main roles have been played by metallic gleams and great tonalities like brassy colors, steel colors, black, golden and rusty colors. These tonalities constitute a new palette that is mingled with prints inspired by different elements like mercury, melted silver, red-hot iron, and tin.

Metallic coldness is a good contrast to the fake furs that have been widely used in this collection. Furs with different dimensions and colors are combined to form new, interesting, and trendy effects on the clothing pieces: Sinuous, geometric, and crossed patterns; those different kinds of fur are also accompanied by nice wool fabrics that look really good and adapt themselves to the colored prints. These combinations generate a voluminous appearance which adds a special touch to this collection.
