Designer dresses and collections: Alexander Wang’s Spring-Summer 2010
During the well-known New York Fashion Week, the Asian-American designer Alexander Wang introduced his collection for the next Spring-Summer 2010 season.
As part of the collection, we will find some looks in khaki with a “safari” style, which are complemented with knee-length socks, just like those worn by some schoolgirls.

On the other hand, Wang likes to combine sheer fabrics or leather with sport jackets. This way, the designer adds a great feminine touch to an attire that otherwise appears so masculine and down-at-heel.

Continuing with the utilization of sport attire, we can appreciate the use of boxing robes combined with stylish shorts, as well as with high socks and toeless booties. Definitely, this is a great option to look like a trendy “fighter”.

Wang’s collection is characterized by the use of different colors like khaki, white, black and beige.

Also, as seen in the pictures, this designer opted for a combination of different trends. This way, the looks of the collection include several styles like hippy-style, safari-style, and modern style. Actually, sometimes those styles are combined in a single product to produce a very original item.
The collection also includes a fringed dress with a very folk style and animal prints figure.
