Check collection: Bershka Spring-Summer 2010

Although we had already seen the first pictures of the Bershka campaign for the Spring-Summer 2010 season through Facebook, this brand of the large Spanish corporation Inditex has already updated its official website with additional pictures of the new collection.

As usual in the Spanish low-cost brands, we will continue seeing many T-shirts with retro-inspired prints, many jeans, a wide variety of colors that reveal the arrival of the good weather, and rock touches in some clothing pieces and accessories.

But the new collection also captures some trends that are becoming more and more popular: Skinny pants, colored and sheer laceworks that allow to insinuate the underwear slightly, fringed vests, etc. Besides that, Beshka seems also falling under Balmain’s influence. After all, Balmain is an emblematic and prominent fashion house which is a major reference point for many people and companies in the fashion market, including fashion magazines, fashion stylists and, of course, all the low-cost stores that are renovating their catalogs full of items inspired by collections of big fashion houses and well-known designers.

By the way, the new Balmain Spring-Summer collection will bring some military-style items including jackets in khaki with big buttons as ornaments, worn-out jeans,  close-fitting cotton T-shirts, camouflage patterns, and a measure of “trash style” impregnating the whole collection. Well, apparently Beshka is taking some of these elements, too.
