Aviator

This is the most traditional family of sunglasses in the Ray-Ban catalog. In this family, we can find the most classic design, but in some items the nose bridge and the joint between the two lenses are narrower than usual. These sunglasses are available in dark tones or bluish tones (as seen in the picture above).

WayFarer

This year, thick plastic frames with a sort of “nerdy” style are back in fashion. And the WayFarer family is a good example of this kind of sunglasses. They are made of a synthetic material. We can find them with a solid-colored frame (in this case the frame is black, only) or with a mottled frame where the main color is combined with some orange spots (in this case, the frame of each item is available in black or brown).

Perhaps, this is also one of the most traditional and elegant kind of sunglasses. And, apparently, they are targeted to a more mature users group. These sunglasses have a very classic design, which remind us of certain sunglasses of olden days. The color contrast is also present, although it is less pronounced because the frame around the lenses is thinner than the frames of sunglasses included in the WayFarer family. However, they are stronger and more resistant to impact because they are made of a combination of plastic and titanium.

Cats

Compared to the other families, the “Cats family” has a more innovative design. In the pictures, you can see how different the nose bridge is (especially in the picture above). In this first picture of the Cats family, the joint between the two lenses has been eliminated and the nose bridge is thicker (but in the second picture, it is completely different). A thicker nose bridge give a sense of a more solid structure: the arms, the frame and the lenses look really integrated and compacted. And there is no much color contrast.
