Adidas Originals travels to a galaxy far, far away with STAR WARS figures
Adidas is launching the collection for the Spring-Summer 2010 season. The world icon of street clothing Adidas Originals swells with pride announcing its collaboration with one of the most well-known movie franchise in the whole world: STAR WARS. The stellar Spring / Summer 2010 collection fuses iconic characters and scenes of STAR WARS with the classic shapes of clothing and footwear by Adidas Originals.
The collaboration between Adidas Originals and Lucasfilm Ltd. “has been an exciting process” according to Ben Pruess, Adidas Originals VP of Product Marketing. “To work with Lucasfilm in bringing a timeless story to life on our products is great. Like adidas Originals, the Star Wars brand has a long and rich history of being a leader, leaving an indelible mark on pop culture. For fans of the films, sneaker heads or those that love fun and fresh designs, the collection gives you the chance to find the Force or join the dark side.”
Inspired by the galactic legend, the collection STAR WARS comprises a limited edition and also has a massive distribution of footwear, clothing, and accessories for men, women, and kids. Characters and scenes taken from new versions of the epic legend are represented in the classic Adidas Original outfits and several legendary sneaker styles. It’s possible to see graphics with characters such as Darth Vader and Stormtrooper in selected and iconic Originals styles. Other important characters of STAR WARS, as well as memorable moments of the movies, will be also represented in novel ways.
Since last February, the collection is available at Adidas Originals stores. Selected salesmen around the world has been trained to sell these products. The collaboration includes a line for the Fall / Winter 2010-2011 season with an exciting new selection of footwear and clothing.

Really these look like a branch off of Timberland but they are still nice. I am curious about how much support they offer though.
