The pick of the new arrivals at top high street retailer
With the spring sunshine beautifully upon us at last, the shops up and down the UK are changing their window displays and letting dreams of summer drift into their stores.
Warehouse has just launched its latest dresses UK collection online – and alongside some exciting experiments with prints and collars in the separates, our eyes are on the new dresses that will be hitting stores this week.
Right at the top of the wishlist is a continuation of the lace love that we’ve been celebrating for the last 6 months. For summer we’re loving the candy yellow lace bodycon dress (pictured) – perfect for partying in the hotter months, with a pair of cork or woven wedges, a tan (if you’re lucky!) and a big straw hat for the daytime heat. There are also some great blazers in the new collection which would work as a wonderful cover-up for the colder hours.

Summer trend 2012: Mint color
8 Apr 2012
The so-called mint color, which is a shade of green in the range of pastel colors that is being really popular this season, has arrived strongly for this Summer. It’s a soft color that can be combined with other colors easily. From runways to the streetstyle, and from the streetstyle to stores, the mint color is a must-have right now.
We already saw this pastel color on runways during fashion shows of fashion houses and designers such as Rochas or David Delfin. Many others designers have also joined to this fashion trend with this trendy color, even with total looks in this color. Wearing a look in this color from head to toe -like was showed on some runways- is a little excessive for a regular day, but don’t hesitate to buy a clothing piece in mint green.
Final Fantasy characters get dressed in Prada clothes
6 Apr 2012
Lightning, Noel, Snow, Sazh and Hope, characters of the latest version of the Final Fantasy video game have replaced their customary warrior outfits by looks of the Prada Spring/Summer 2012 collection. This claim could seem a nonsense but, actually, that is not sciencie-fiction; in fact, the video games and fashion industries -that so far had been very different and disconnected fields- are now collaborating; the reason is simple: The successful video game saga is turning 25 this year.
The most important characters of Final Fantasy XIII-2 have become models to participate as the stars of a photo shooting made by the masculine magazine Arena Homme+. “Our Spring issue focuses on a world of direction and escapism, and having a visually stunning video game franchise such as Final Fantasy work alongside us and a leading fashion brand like Prada to create something so unique is incredible,” Max Pearmain -editor of Arena Homme+- explained.
