Fashion designers: Luella – Autumn-Winter 2009/2010 at the London Fashion Week
26 Feb 2009
Luella Bartley launched a collection inspired by school uniforms, a little military, and with a British punk touch. Although it is not so remarkable as the collection for spring-summer 2009, which is outstanding and charming, this new collection has really nice details like the particular zippers (or zip fasteners) with beautiful shapes, and sheer fabrics mixed with other fabrics to create a great effect.

Calvin Klein at the New York Fashion Week – Fall-Winter 2009/10
21 Feb 2009
Some months ago, Calvin Klein presented its collection for spring-summer 2009. It is based on the geometric shapes and futurism (sci-fi). This week, CK introduced its new fall-winter collection with a more sophisticated perspective. Fabrics and textures are the strong points of this collection: geometric shapes, asymmetric cuts, pleats and soft details that are used carefully. All the pieces are soft and elegant. Definitely, a very suitable collection.
DKNY Fall Winter 2009/2010 at the New York Fashion Week
20 Feb 2009
The DKNY collection for spring-summer 2009 was based on sport clothing and fluorescent colors. Now, its collection for next autumn-winter (2009 / 2010) changes radically to show us some designs with a very feminine, sober and elegant style. We believe this is a trend that will continue throughout several fashion shows.
What will be the trends for Spring Summer womens clothes ?
19 Feb 2009
The last season’s trends had some fantastic new directions to enjoy for Fall and Winter fashion. There were strong emphasis on tartan prints, knit dresses, tulip and bubble skirts and fringing and lace for evening wear, amongst others. Key colours included teal, chartreuse, purple and greys, and tailoring was key – with references still in evidence to 80′s oversized shapes, sixties style shift dresses, and even overt 70′s peacock colouring and tailoring for maxi evening dresses. Pleats, box cuts, prom dresses and bubble skirts were also all over the high street – and the good news is that many of these items can still be incorporated into the new season looks!

Designer handbags: Loewe Collection – Spring / Summer 2009
12 Feb 2009
The most classic Loewe handbags line, which is called Amazona, has a long history, but this season it is modernized by using crocodile hide for its manufacturing and intense colors like red or a nice print of a paint stain on a navy blue background. It is probable that this handbag line is the most wanted Loewe line. And maybe many celebrities are adding it to their wish list for the 2009 season.
